All vehicles in McDonald Enterprises Inventory are available for export and out of state sales. However, there are certain procedures and California law that must be adhered to.
We have exported vehicles as far as New Zealand, Australia, American Samoa and Canada for our customers.
Most vehicles travel to their overseas destination via ocean. If time is of the essence and freight cost is irrelevant, air transport can also be arranged.
Once a buyer determines that a vehicle
is to be purchased for
export overseas, McDonald Enterprises will:
1. apply in person
at the California DMV for a Certificate of Exportation;
2. coordinate with the freight forwarder and provide
paperwork necessary to comply with US Customs;
3. facilitate CA DMV approved transport of vehicle to the
nearest California port .*
Once a buyer determines that a
vehicle is to be purchased for registration in another state, McDonald
Enterprises will:
1.
will provide a clear California Title or its equivalent to the buyer in
order for the buyer to register the
vehicle in another state;
2. will assist with CA DMV approved transport of vehicle.*
For out of state buyers, we can
pick you up at the nearest airport, train station or rental car agency.
